Rod is our tall Canadian. He loves his coffee; the darker the better! He has been at Beachside Dental for over 5 years. Rod studied genetics overseas for 5 years and then continued his Dentistry studies in Queensland.
Rod is a man of many talents. He has a keen eye and enjoys doing smile makeovers and cosmetic dentistry and also works within our Skin Statement team.
Any moment That Dr Rod has spare, you’ll find him by the water, in the sunshine or chasing his pup around!

Tristan is originally from NZ and joined us at BDS in 2022. He has 25 years experience as a dentist and practices all aspects of modern general dentistry; including, managing gum problems, replacing missing teeth, crowns, implants, and root canal treatments. His expertise and experience means he has built up a network of specialists in the industry that patients can be referred to for orthodontics and more complex dental issues.
Outside of work he likes good food; so, you will find him at cafes and restaurants with a good wine in hand. Tristan loves the sun and travels regularly in search of the world's best sunny places.
His unaccomplished tasks in life are to have a perfect lawn and a slim waist... he says he is making inroads on one of them.

Grant's 25+ years as a dentist has taken him interstate and abroad, providing him with some unique and unusual experiences - just ask him about removing teeth under a tree during a stint of charity work in India! But amongst these travels, he has maintained a high level of care and remained committed to professional development, so you can be sure that he will provide you with high quality, personalised treatment.
On a personal front, he met his wife in the UK and has 2 children. His non-dental interests are travelling, hiking, cricket and soccer - but with a young family he doesn't get to indulge in them often!

Oral Health Therapist (BOH)
My passion in dentistry lies in creating a relaxing environment for all patients, where their needs and expectations for dental care are met. I thoroughly enjoy providing treatment to children and building their “dental home” to create great habits for healthy futures. Outside of the practice, I’m a clinical tutor at the University of Adelaide dental school and I absolutely love this aspect of my career.
In my spare time you can find my partner and I chasing after our toddler, enjoying all the things that come with having an active little boy!

Oral Health Therapist (BOH, CSOM)
Zoe is an Oral Health Therapist. She finds enjoyment in a pro-active approach to Dental Health. Zoe has been working in the dental field since she was 17 and still really enjoys meeting people and making a difference. She loves working with kids and has a keen and specific interest in treating jaw pain. Zoe is also a qualified Orofacial Myologist.
Her life away from work is VERY busy with 3 kids, 9, 11, and 20 all part of a very sporty family who loves team sports and anything water related.

Lauren has been an Oral Health Therapist for five years. She finds joy in working with children, in particular those with fears or anxieties as she loves being able to help alleviate them.
But aside from that, Lauren enjoys working with people of all ages and is very passionate about oral health and it’s close relation to our general health.
Lauren is known for colouring her hair in bright colours as it always makes her smile (even more than ususal). Her and her husband have a toy cavoodle named Nala that they love taking to the beach.
Recently Lauz welcomed a little bubba and is enjoying some time to appreciate the new family member at home. She’ll be back in 2026.

Ashleigh is one of our dedicated Oral Health Therapists. She has over a decade of experience in providing individualised patient focused dental & oral health care. Ashleigh is committed to promoting optimal oral health in a view to assist overall general health well-being.
Ashleigh takes pride in being a kind & empathetic dental practitioner & enjoys building rapport with her patients to make them feel at ease.
She holds a Bachelor of Oral Health, from The University of Queensland and during her career she has gained a wealth of experience working with both adults & children in both public & private dental settings & speciality orthodontics.
Ashleigh along with her husband and two young boys moved from Brisbane to South Australia in 2024. Outside of work Ashleigh enjoys keeping active with her family & exploring their new home on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Camille is our dedicated Dental Therapist, bringing over 30 years of experience from SA Dental, South Australia’s public dental health service. She joins us as our first sole dental therapist, focusing exclusively on our patients under 18.
Camille is passionate about prevention, education and creating positive dental experiences for children and adolescents.
Alongside her clinical work, Camille is a clinical tutor and mentor at the University of Adelaide, guiding our next generation of oral health professionals.
Outside the clinic, Camille loves spending time outdoors with family and friends, often exploring new places, camping and enjoying the sunshine. Camille looks forward to welcoming you and your children to our Dental Studio.

Erin graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene) in 2015.
Erin loves all things dentistry, and her focus is on high quality preventative dentistry, helping patients understand their periodontal health and the link with over all health. She enjoys connecting with patients and making even the most nervous person feel comfortable.
Outside of work you will most likely find Erin wrangling her two young children and hanging out with her beloved horse Pixie. She is also our sometimes supplier of fresh free- range eggs from her farm, which is always a treat!

SKIN THERAPIST.

Danni has been with us since 2012. She originally began her role with some past dental experience but formally as part of our reception team. You may hear Danni on the end of the phone when you call or she may greet you with a grin on arrival.
In addition, Danni was an integral part of the evolution of our sister company Skin Statement. She is all sort of skin health obsessed and her role has transformed into being able to also provide our patients with pro-active skin regimes and treatments.
She is a local who loves a quiz night, has two beautiful boys and we can’t leave out… a delightful rescue dog Skye. She enjoys making up her own amazing recipes out of creative pantry ingredients and her delightful “leftovers from last night” aromas in the staff room leave us all a tad bit jealous.. And on top of all that…Danni has a keen eye for fashion and a rainbow wardobe to die for.

Tily began in the beauty industry over 10 years ago and fell in love with all aspects of the industry, not wavering from it since.
She has worked in my different types of beauty over the years giving her a unique range of skills. Her love of skin health and helping clients with their skin is her main driving force. Tily's background in day spas give her a relaxing presence and beautiful touch.
When Tily's not at work, you'll find her hanging out in nature, spending time with loved ones or watching a movie on the couch. Tily's friendly nature puts all of her clients at ease and she is always up for a chat or happy to let them relax in silence.
Tily's role at Skin Statement is part treatment and part coordinating the business. You'll find her designing our socials and providing treatments on Thursdays and Fridays. Tily looks forward to you booking in with her soon.

Patty is the Practice Manager of Beachside Dental Studio so she's the person we take all our questions to! When we asked Patty what she felt her most important role was, she said that it was making our patients feel welcome, comfortable, and confident in what we do. Further to that she enjoys most when our patients walk out feeling great about their smile.
She is our fearless leader who makes our entire team feel heard, supported and her nature allows our workplace to both professional and fun. This also transposes to allow our patients to truly feel at home.
Away from work, Patty loves taking time out for self-care to reload, and spend quality time with her husband and fur baby.

Amy is the Owner of Beachside Dental Studio. She has a Bachelor in Oral Health and a Graduate Certificate in Oral Health Science. She started Beachside Dental Studio 14 years ago dedicated to offering the local community, adults and children alike, an experience that evoked safety, quality, and confidence in a studio that felt as much like home as possible.
You will probably hear Amy’s voice or laugh around the Studio before you see her. Amy loves a chat, whether that be with our patients, checking to see how their dental appointment was, just a casual hello, or checking in on a team member.
Amy is a mum of 4 who loves the local community and beaches. She loves spending time with her kids, cooking, keeping fit and finding new places to test out a menu.
Outside of that, you’ll find her cuddling her beloved dog Kevin or taking him on a beach walk/ adventure.
